Second Harvest of Silicon Valley

Grace Covenant Church is a partner agency with Second Harvest serving food to the low-income families of our community. As a Partners, we help serve the culturally-diverse population of South San Francisco, San Bruno and Brisbane through our "Abundant Harvest Food Pantry" ministry at our campus every 1st Saturday of the month from 8:00-9:30am. Volunteers are welcome!

Foster the City

Foster the City was launched in 2015 when a Social Worker challenged churches in the San Francisco Bay Area to mobilize “a faith alliance” to address a growing deficit of foster homes. The Church responded with a resounding yes. In the ensuing years, Foster the City has grown to more than 200 churches and mobilized more than a thousand households – as Foster Parents, Support Friends and Advocates. ​As a result, hundreds of children have been welcomed into Foster the City homes. In 2021, our coalition of churches expanded beyond the Bay Area and today our dream is to see churches across the country become known as the community where abused and neglected children are cared for as beloved sons and daughters.

International Partnerships

Christian Veterinary Mission

Christian Veterinary Mission seeks to help veterinarians serve others and live out their Christian faith through their profession. We seek to change lives and communities by improving the care of livestock and other animals.

Tokyo Life Church 
​(Grant & Miho Buchholtz in Japan)

Grant and Miho moved to Japan in August 2013 as Evangelical Covenant Church long-term missionaries to plant Tokyo Life Church in the Ikebukuro area of Tokyo. You can find out more about this church at www.tokyolifechurch.com.

Missionaries to Germany

Greg and Kristi are Evangelical Covenant Missionaries working in three areas of the former eastern sector of Berlin, Germany. They are focused on refugee ministry – caring for the many refugees that have settled there, church development and church planting. Greater European Mission
(Daniel & Kimberly Irvin in Scotland)

In 2016, God called us to be missionaries in Scotland. Scotland has been near to both our hearts since childhood, and in 2018 we were finally able to visit. We saw firsthand how the church is struggling; every 18 days another Scottish church will close its doors and fewer and fewer Scots are hearing the Gospel and being invited into relationship with Christ. It is estimated that only 2% of the population are believers. Scotland has the highest homelessness, substance abuse, and suicide rates in the UK, and with the divorce rates at a staggering 78%, this leaves the stability of a solid family unit at the door, with no hope to lean on. Even though hopelessness runs rampant in Scotland, we have a vision to spread the Hope of Jesus to the Scottish people.
